Matias is a dedicated advocate for clients facing legal challenges following the death or incapacity of loved ones. Matias champions client interests with compassion, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected through the often emotional complexities of litigation.
Matias’ practice includes all aspects of estate litigation including will challenges, disputed powers of attorney, dependant relief, disputed passings of account, executor misconduct, and capacity litigation.
Matias’ path to law has been shaped by a variety of experiences that have made him a well-rounded advocate. He has worked as a consultant for a global accounting and investigative firm, an academic fellow for the University of Toronto, an administrative clerk for a financial services company, and as a piano teacher. In law school, Matias volunteered as the clinic manager of the Consumer Protection Clinic. He was also President of the Osgoode Chess Club, founded the Osgoode Estates Law Club, and was recognized for academic excellence in Osgoode’s property law and estates law courses.
In his free time, Matias enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and playing shows with his band.
